Modeling and Simulation

Track Incharge:

Prof. Mohd Sharif

Environmental modeling and simulation finds application in a wide spectrum of fields of studies, including conservation, pollution, evaluation and control, environmental protection, monitoring of ecosystems, resource management and climate change. Evaluation of environmental impacts through modeling and simulation has become an integral part of environmental management. With the rapid advancement in computational capabilities, the development of new modeling and simulation techniques are being explored by researchers. Environmental systems consisting of biotic elements such as growth processes and population dynamics, particularly under the influence of climate change can now be modelled more accurately than ever before.
